Spa Etiquette

Minimum service bookings

Members – each member level has a required minimum service allowance. *please see member level descriptions

 

Non-members – Individual services require a minimum $150 in services is required to book an appointment within 50 miles roundtrip travel of our Bellaire office.

 

All other areas vary based on roundtrip travel distance of our Bellaire office

51-75 miles - $200 minimum

76-100 miles - $300 minimum

101-150 miles - $400 minimum

 

Reservation Policy

Members

standing appointments are suggested. 

Individual services must be made 24 to 72 hours in advance and at least 1-2 weeks in advance for group spa events.

*Same day appointments may be available; however services and time frames may be limited, therefore please keep in mind to allow for flexibility in your request(s).

 

Non-members

standing appointments are not available. 

Individual services must be made 3-5 days in advance and at least 1-2 months in advance for group spa events.

*Same day appointments are not available.

 

Payment and cancellation policy

Members

a valid credit card will be held on file and service charges will be applied accordingly.

Individual services will be fully charged on account 24 hours before scheduled service appointment. 

Spa parties will require a 50% deposit at booking with remaining balance due 3 days before appointment. 

Cancellation for individual services must have a 24 hour notice to avoid a full charge. 

Cancellation for spa parties must have a 5 day notice to avoid a 50% deposit loss.  In the event you must cancel your reservation for any reason, deposits and payments applied to packages are nonrefundable, unless we are able to rebook the event date for equal or greater value, in which case all monies will be refunded minus a 20% cancellation fee of the entire booking. 

In the event of rescheduling, a rescheduling fee may apply. --  Only one rescheduling permitted

 

Non-members

a valid credit card will not be held on file. 

Individual services require full payment on a valid credit card at booking

Spa parties will require a 50% non-refundable deposit on a valid credit card at booking with remaining balance due on 7th day before spa party.

Cancellation for individual services must have a 72 hour notice to avoid a full charge. 

Cancellation for spa parties must have a 7 day notice to avoid a full charge.  In the event you must cancel your reservation for any reason, deposits and payments applied to packages are nonrefundable, unless we are able to rebook the event date for equal or greater value, in which case all monies will be refunded minus a 25% cancellation fee of the entire booking. 

In the event of rescheduling, a rescheduling fee may apply. --  Only one rescheduling permitted

 

Due to the commuting nature of this business, at times unavoidable delays may arise due to road conditions, traffic, etc. If your therapist arrives late due to these circumstances you will receive either your scheduled treatment or a gift certificate for schedule service minus 10% off original price. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this occurrence, though rare, may cause.

 

Spa party booking procedures

Members

Please provide the following information when booking your appointment:
·      Date and timeframe you are requesting (timeframe subject to change due to treatments)
·      Number of people in your party
·      Location of party
·      Type of treatment(s) or ask us for a consultation

·      Member number

·      Note that spa party deposit will be applied to credit card on file for member

 

Non-members

Please provide the following information when booking your appointment:
·      Date and timeframe you are requesting (timeframe subject to change due to treatments)
       Number of people in your party
       Location of party
·      Type of treatment(s) or ask us for a consultation

·      Member referral name   

·      A valid credit card is required to book your appointment.

 

Additional notes

*It is important to contact us after receiving your confirmation email to discuss the details for your services (i.e., location, number of people, travel fees, etc.) to complete the booking process.

*Discount cannot be combined with any other offers, coupons or specials.

**Our services are in high demand and are often booked days in advance. Please allow for flexibility in your request.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in our treatment prices. If you are pleased with your services, it is customary to give a 20% gratuity to your spa technician. The gratuity may be added to the total cost of service at time of booking if you prefer.  Members may call in a added gratuity to their account within 24 hours after service.

Age Requirement
Our spa treatments and spa parties are designed specifically for adults and older teens. We can custom design any package for the younger groups. We also ask that at least one adult over the age of 21 is present for every five attendees between the ages of 16-18. In the case of a spa party with minors (such as a Sweet 16), we will need parental permission from every guest 7 days before spa party.

Comfort 
Special attention and careful draping for privacy, comfort, and relaxation are observed during all spa services and treatments. Undergarments and swimsuits may be worn if preferred. We encourage you to communicate any level of discomfort to your therapist.  It is recommended that you shower prior to a body treatment.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Our spa technicians uphold strict professional and ethical standards. Any illicit or sexually-suggested remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of services. You will be liable for full payment of scheduled services.

Our spa technicians will refuse or terminate a treatment if any of the following apply:

- Broken skin or lesions
- Misconduct such as solicitation or suggestive comments
- Any medical conditions not mentioned at the time of reservation
- Intoxication

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
There are a few medical conditions that are not compatible with spa treatments – serious cardiac conditions and blood clots; skin disease, wounds, or tumors; cancer or tuberculosis; fever; fractures or dislocations. Please consult with your physician regarding any medical concerns prior to your spa services.

*If pregnant, please state prior to your treatment. Services are generally recommended after 12 weeks.*

 

Contracts
We require contracts for all spa group event bookings.

Day Spa-at your door Agreement
A reminder to all our spa guests, please review the info below:

- Please advise us if you have any allergies or are taking any medications when you make your booking.
- Please advise us if you have any medical conditions or if you are pregnant when you make your booking.
- Please advise the esthetician if you have any concerns about the treatment.
- If any young children will be present during the treatments, please ensure they are supervised at all times for their safety.
- Please ensure all
Day Spa-at your door guests are on time for their treatment to avoid any delays in treatments.
- Cash gratuities are greatly appreciated and are optional.
